A recent court ruling states that local election officials must give voters who voted by mail another chance to submit a signature if their signatures on the ballot certificate and on file did not match.
If you have not already been contacted by your supervisor of elections and you are concerned that your signature on your returned ballot did not match the one on file, please contact your local supervisors of election office immediately. If you are told that your signature did not match, complete the Signature Cure Affidavit form and include a copy of your identification. The affidavit form will be available on your local supervisors of election website.
You can also track the progress of your vote by mail ballot online. Some county supervisor of elections will flag that online for your ballot if applicable. If you have any questions about the process or need assistance, please contact Disability Rights Florida.
